Product Review: Ender 3 MAX
Why you NEED Creality Ender 3 Max Printer
Creality is well known as the staple of 3D printing for beginners with their most popular printer the Ender 3. The Ender 3 MAX is a FDM value printer, like the Ender 3, but with a much larger build size. This makes it the perfect printer for someone who is looking for a large build volume on a budget!

Let’s start off with this 3D printer’s most notable feature, the size. The Ender 3 MAX stands tall with a Z-axis of 340 mm. The bed itself is 300 x 300 mm and is made of ultra-flat carborundum glass that gives the bed superior heat conductivity, is fast to heat up and creates a very adhesive first layer for the print without warping or scratching. The size allows you to print very sizable objects, or simply have more room to print many small objects at once. The frame is all metal with the classic H shaped modular design that guarantees stability during printing and is very easy to assemble. The spool holder on the Ender 3 MAX is located to the side of the machine. Taking the weight off the top increases the acuity of the printing nozzle but does increase the printer’s footprint on the tabletop.
The Ender 3 MAX is a cartesian style 3D printer that comes with a pre-assembled, smooth and stable linear pulley system gantry. It comes with dual heating fans for rapid heat dissipation, an all-metal extruder with a heat-resistant cooper nozzle for continuous smooth filament extrusion. Ender 3 Max equipped with 350W Meanwell power supply with adjustable voltage from 100V to 240V. Safe to use, and powerful in heating up, meeting all the needs of fast heating and long duration printing.
The Ender 3 MAX uses Creality’s now widely popular German imported TMC2208 motherboard. The TMC2208 provides stronger anti-interference, more stable performance, and provides an ultra-silent printing experience. It also features the resume printing function that is common among new printers. This allows users to resume printing if the power is lost, and if filament runs out or breaks, the printer will automatically stop printing, which can then be resumed after new filament is loaded. The UI of the Ender 3 MAX is almost identical to the Ender 3, using the rotary knob to navigate the menu.
Creality Ender 3 MAX is also fully compatible to work with Creality’s wifi Box, which allows users to access the revolutionary world of Cloud 3D Print, enabling the user to control their printers, adjust printing parameters, and monitor prints all in real time, all from their phones!
In summary the Creality Ender 3 MAX is a very well-priced printer for the build volume it provides, and the quality it can output, its intuitive operation makes it an excellent place to start 3D printing for beginners or to add to your roster for experts. It can be purchased from your local Canadian retailer on the Mechestore!
